VMware [REDACTED]
The results show [REDACTED] performance for both systems, with ESX 3.0.1 having an average overhead of [REDACTED] relative to the same benchmark run native, whereas XenEnterprise shows an average overhead of about 3%. ESX has a [REDACTED] in the gcc compiler sub-benchmark which accounts for the largest difference in performance. This is a known [REDACTED] for XenEnterprise. We believe that [REDACTED] may be one reason why [REDACTED] performs well here of course [REDACTED] does not do this because [REDACTED], which brings [REDACTED]. |
